Glasses have always been for nerds. When we used to see big bolded glasses we always associated them with smart little wimpy kids. When did this trend become so cool? Many magazines have labeled this new fashion trend as “nerd chic.” I feel like those two words are contradictions of eachother. Can something be so nerdy, that it is considered cool? As said in the Washington Post, “If geek has become chic, where’s a geek to go?”
